During the first week of April 2013, letters were distributed among the Muslims to come together and form an organisation which represents the Muslims of Barking Riverside and achieve the aim of establishing an  Islamic cultural centre. Alhamdullilah on the 20. April 2013, almost 50 people turn up at Rivergate Centre where Riverside Muslim Association(RMA) was formed. With members represent all ethnic back ground, RMA is the only most diverse Muslim organisation in regards to ethinicity and gender in the whole Barking and Dagenham. Since then we have Jumma prayes, we celebrated EID twice a year where hundreds of Muslims from defferent part of London were gathered at Rverside. Since Ramadhan 2014 we have started Tarweh Prayers for both brothers and sisters at Rivergate Centre. Isha Prayer has been intruduced starting from June 2015. We aim to have a 5 prayers a day by the end of 2015 Insha'Allah. We have also bigin with weekend madrass for children as well. All activities are taiking place at Rivergate Centre. Donations will be appriciated which will support the aim and activities such as renting the hall for Prayers and obtaining a masjid in Barking Rverside. The profet May Peace be uppon him said Who ever build a masjid, Allah will build him a golden palace in paradise.
